I live in old Dhaka, nearby to Ahsan Manzil. This is a wonderful big building and also a historical place. The building has been renovated to several times keeping its original structure. I recommend anyone wants to visit Dhaka, visit this place. You will enjoy. And do not forget to take food from local restaurants. Thank you.

It is an overrated restaurant. Overcrowded and over priced. The hilsa fish price is twice the price in normal market. Other foods including rice and brinjal fry is also have hefty price tag. The overall setting is excellent. Marvellous design of the building. I will not recommend intend to visit the restaurant only from Dhaka. But if you plan a whole day visit and explore Padma river and expressway, overall it might okay. Food quality good, if not excellent. But hefty price tag and overcrowded environment kill everyting.
